World’s highest man-made lake situated at Auli. If you are in auli don’t miss to see the artificial lake a clear water lake while sitting around the lake with the magnificent view of Mt. Nandadevi, Mt. Dronagiri, Kamet, Hathi Ghoda Palki, Neelgiri, Abhigamin are visible clearly. A nice view of Gorson meadow bugyal can be seen from here.
The artificial lake water connected by pipe to 20 artificial snow gun, and 4 mobile snow gun, the only machine of its kind in south Asia, was imported for the south Asian winter games in 2011.
It was placed incase no snow in ski slopes so by creating artificial snow with those snow gun machine it was important to make this artificial lake where water was storage.

One can reach here by cab while taking permission from Army check post there is a mud road connected till artificial lake and eco huts and helipad as well 3* resort cliff top club auli.
Another option is park the car at car parking auli from there walk 100 meter to chair lift point and take chair lift to reach near by artificial lake but be sure after 4pm the lift does not work. One can take horse/mules from chair lift point to artificial lake if they like to avoid the chair lift.
